Dennis Swain has been with his lovely wife Jennifer for over 20 years. They have 4 adult kids (twins Mia and Ella age 18, Lauren, age 21, and Hunter age 26). Dennis has worked as the Diversity and Inclusion Administrator for Adams County since 2017. Prior to that Dennis worked for the state of Alaska for 14 years in every capacity from child welfare investigator to State Director for Indian Child Welfare. Dennis spent 2 years as National Director for Indian child Welfare with Casey Family Programs and 2 years as the Executive Director for the Denver Indian family resource Center. He also has been a trainer for well known DEI courses such as Undoing Racism, Knowing Who you Are, and Cultural Humility. Dennis has been a speaker/trainer/invitee to prestigious diversity and inclusion events such as the Montana state court conference, National Summit for Men of Color, and The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services.
