This Session will provide an educational understanding about the origins of ‘race’ and why most people today have never heard of it. The presentation will walk participants through a process of how race categories were created, how the categories were supported by systems, and how we get our racially categories today. The class also addresses how ‘everyone’ was tricked into this thing called ‘race’.
